Aftercare salve
This herbal aftercare salve provides a thin and soothing protective layer to protect fresh ink. The salve contains high-quality organic skin-nourishing oils as well as herbal-infused olive oils. Oregon grape (Mahonia nervosa) is anti-bacterial and keeps your open wound clean during the healing process. Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) reduces inflammation and helps new skin cells grow so your tattoo heals quicker. Calendula (Calendula officinalis) is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory and extremely moisturizing. All herbs used in this salve were either wildcrafted in the Oregon woods or grown in my garden. Apply a thin layer of this salve to a fresh tattoo multiple times each day until the tattoo is healed. This can also be used long after the healing process has finished to keep your tattoo looking fresh and moisturized.
